i've plan to buy a new guitar online, so the most popular site is www.ebay.com. there's lots of stuff there, it'll only make u dream of buying everything up on ebay.

it's quite risky buying guitars online, it's better to look and feel the guitar on the spot before you make a purchase. anyway the guitar i wanted is not available locally and the price on ebay is i should say, affordable. so i guess i just continue with the plan of buying it.

So i searched for my guitar, it's actually available on ebay. but my choice is quite limited though cos i'm choosy with the choices of colours of a guitar. i want the cherry colored guitar. i prefer bright color guitars over black. Anyway the seller also ships "Worldwide". Awesome!!

So i emailed the seller if they ship to Brunei, Alas, they don't ship to Brunei due to size restrictions! Damn! By the way the guitar i wanted is an Epiphone DOT Cherry.

Of Merchandise and Album

First, shout out to Spawai with his first 3belas blogpost. Now onwards to the enquiry in the messageboard by 'Xara' and '26' regarding merchandise. I'm not sure if every is aware of this but 3belas will take at least four months to physically regroup because I won't be back in Brunei til September. But fear not 3belas has been revived and is spending the next four months on internet invasion and trying to build a network of supporters. Another project that we are attempting is recording planned songs through the internet. Spawai will be re arranging songs and once these are finished I will add my vocals in. Something like that ne.

Once 3belas is reunited in September the first thing that we will do is of course hit the jamming room. Get our grooves right. Do shows while recording the album and THEN we will do something about the merchandising. Don't fret, merchandising adalah pelan konkrit 3belas untuk at least giving the ones who support, merchandise yang dapat dipakai guna day in and day out. We are expecting to cover everything by the end of 2008 and early 2009 insya-allah. In the meantime we give you our love, and hope you give yours back to us, to the world and to every single makhluk ciptaan tuhan. Semoga hidup dalam kedamaian. Hentikan oppresi untuk hindarkan obsesi kuasa manusia-setan.

Hello people... 3belas is back, it's been a long hiatus and now we're making a comeback, expect new breathe to the old songs of 3belas and new songs coming up. As you may all know or not, i'm also in an indie band called IMTS. so this (3belas) will be my side-project as the genre would be different. it is pretty exciting on how my guitar playing would change and song writings would differ.

Shai, Amat and me have been in the Brunei music scene (band) way back since 1998 or 1999, that's 10 years now, playing underground metal scene to commercial indo-malay songs and now we're back together, it is such a wonderful news.

Thanks to all 3belas supporters/fans, who have been there, past, present and future, this is 3belas kembali in aksi.

3belas : The Internet Invasion

It is ironic how the only means of 3belas collaborating with each other is through MSN. Nonetheless the band has started to expand its network throught the many music website outlets available. Channel V's Amp was created yesterday while the band is struggling to register with MySpace which apparently has 2 old 3belas's accounts with its passwords long forgotten. How is the how?

Personal rambling on. I also pondered the new life I am restarting after this decision to become active again. I remembered the time I lost my drive to write songs and perform I had withdrawal symptoms. I wasted approximately thousands of dollars on new hobbies to replace my missing passion but none of them worked. I tried marine reefkeeping and photography but I still found the hole to be gaping. I could have invested in 3belas but oddly I didn't. Became a workaholic and was unable to channel emotions. Now my pen writes from where my heart purrs. And we as 3belas together will purr our hearts to everyone. Let us purr together like cats and hum the love back into our lives. Cinta adalah cinta.

Hello my fellow beloved Bruneians. 3belas is in need of your help. Since 3belas is not under any management apart from the in-house 3belas Management - and perhaps will never ever gain any management in the future - 3belas is asking for your help. The management has observed how effective Street Teams can be in promoting a band. So we urge the public who are supportive of 3belas to perhaps be part of the Street Team Management. The Street Team management helps to promote 3belas to the public in the members' own free time. Internet-wise, the E-Team management performs a similar promotion approach.

3belas has always been a band that takes pride in having the public as the members of the band because the public knows best. A commensalic relationship. Moga 3belas dapat menjadi band that the public perceives as part of their own. To proceed in becoming members of the management 3belas has provided application forms for applicants. You will in turn be listed as an acknowledged Management team. What we say in Brunei as pengiktirafan. And to the interest of members, there will be privileges provided for your support.

Another promo we would like to address is our MELADORIA ORKESTRA PROJEKT. 3belas has future plans to play alongside an orchestra and choir ensemble with scores provided on 3belas songs. We hope those who have knowledge in music ensembles as mentioned to enrol in this project. 3belas would be extremely honored to play alongside accomplished musicians and hope we can help each other in pursuing our careers.

A Journey Back in Time

Bicara Tentang 3belas

I had my routine talk with Spawai regarding the direction of the band. We will not share with people just yet but there will be some changes in the band. In the meantime I have been listening to beautiful music from YouTube to get some inspiration. Right now my songwriting capacity is rusty because I haven't been listening to a lot of music and also my bonds to my emotions and life's influences have been broken for the past few years. Tanpa ada musik dan lagu, hidup felt pointless hanya tahu menjalankan tugas dan menjadi workaholic. So my advice to everyone out there, passion drives our lives. If we lose it then we will try to find a new passion but most likely it will not be good for your inner self. I will leave you with one of my favorite song of last year and one of my few favorite female singers, Stefanie Heinzmann.

Discussions between Spawai and Shai

Yalothar! 3belas has returned! The decision came about after weeks long discussions on MSN between Spawai and Shai. It started out as an insignificant want to perhaps perform a swansong effort before finally banging the final nail on the coffin. But lo and behold, it became a desire to revive what once was the first band to use technology in recording and live performances as well as breaking the habit of predictable songwriting. 3belas started in 1999 but the year for 3belas was like 1980s. Now that the scene has caught up, 3belas will try its best to stand on the same level as the many impressive local bands of today. 3belas pales in comparison to the immense progress of the scene and now is in its own catching up game.

Spawai and Shai discussed about recording and jamming issues, promotions, the plannings of a rigorous approach to gaining momentum. What songs to be recorded for the album and also the distribution of demos to Indonesia through the band's good Indonesian friend Romo. So it is set. Mungkin esok kan tiada lagi therefore 3belas terus berpijak kembali ke dunia musik tanahair. hanya satu yang pasti, 3belas tidak akan mulai rakaman sehingga datangnya Oktober. Lihatlah! Kalimat Bersatu!
